BOLEDA CONUS – LED Bollard Light 

The Conus black LED bollard light is part of the Boleda Range which launched in Autumn 2022. The range consists of high output, reliable Commercial Bollard Lights with in-built LED. There are 3 different colour temperatures to choose from: 3000K, 4200K, 6500K. All are controlled by an internal colour switch. The Conus has a flat top head design. Incorporated is an internal, coned, white reflector for optimum light output. Surrounding is a clear, polycarbonate diffuser surround to ensure even light dispersal, adding further protection. The in-built LED rated 20W generates 1600lm (80lm/W).

The Boleda Conus LED Bollards are made from heavy duty, pressure die-cast aluminium with non-corrosive, stainless steel socket screws. With the bollard tube being up to 5mm thick aluminium, as well as being reinforced with internal ribs, rest assured these bollards are extremely heavy duty and sturdy. Rated IP65 with an IK08 impact rating, the Conus is ideal for all applications, such as car parks, driveways, pathways and seating areas. As a result, the Boleda range will last many years and come with a 5 year Guarantee.

Mounting Options

The Boleda Range is completely versatile and therefore have a couple of options in terms of height and mount. Choose between 0.8m or 1m in two different mounting options, root mounted or surface mounted.

Surface mounted models include a heavy duty, internal surface mount. This base is designed to be fixed to a flat surface. This could be decking, slabs or brick for example. Secure in place with anchor bolts to clamp in place or pair with the J-Bolt Root Mounting Kit to fix into wet concrete. If additional stability is required, in more vulnerable areas, it is highly recommended to purchase the internal surface mount support system.

The root mounted models include an anchor bar complete with nuts for strong, sturdy mounting as well as a cable gland which allows for easy wiring after fixing the bollard in place. The strong mounting bar inside the tubular body acts as an anchor when set into concrete. 

Photocell (Dusk to Dawn) Sensor – Optional 

Upgrade to a photocell (dusk to dawn) sensor to automate your lights.

The Conus model has the option to have an integral dusk to dawn sensor. This enables light automation, automatically switching on the LED bollard at dusk and off again at dawn. As a result, this acts as a security light all night long, without the need to remember to manually turn the bollard on and off.

Recommended Spacing

The distance between each illuminated LED bollard depends on the area and amount of light required. Lumena recommend spacing for the Conus is 5-8m, with 5m being a constant bright light. These are only guidelines based on the diameter of the light spread.
