MARINA- Surface Mount – Commercial Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel Bollard Light – Surface Mount
The super heavy-duty 2mm thick marine grade stainless steel bollard light the ‘Marina’ is extra robust and built to withstand harsher weather and busy environments. Aluminium louvres in the strong bollard head ensure an ‘anti-glare’ light shines downwards and outwards. Importantly, Marine grade (316) stainless steel is the highest grade of stainless steel. This means this commercial bollard is ideal for use as amenity lighting for larger, commercial or public areas, including car parks, built-up areas, lakes, golf courses etc, where a high level of durability and light is
Additionally, a specially designed head allows for a large 20W LED corn bulb with a high lumen output (brightness). Our bright 15W LED lamp is a great option too. Both lamps offer bright illumination in either warm or daylight white.
Each stainless steel bollard has an extra thick internal mounting base as standard. This can mount onto any flat surface and compatible with root mount J-Bolts if required. A Professional Root Mount version is available in the 1.0m height.
A clear, UV stop polycarbonate diffuser surrounds the majority of the head and silver aluminium internal louvres. These add character to the bollard as well as acting as anti-glare shields / protecting the LED bulb. All external screws are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive product.
How far apart should my bollards be?
The distance between bollards will vary depending on what light output the bulbs used have, what sort of area is being lit and how much light is required. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards may be required for your project based on our recommended bulbs, providing a constant light between each fitting:
-
- 20W LED Corn Bulb (DAYLIGHT WHITE) – 6m to 8m apart
-
- 20W LED Corn Bulb (WARM WHITE) – 5m to 7m apart
